During a number of flights between North and South and musing upon the water in the air called clouds, I became enamoured of the constantly shifting composition of the ocean of air about us.
At some unclearly remembered moment, the corollaries to Wallace Stevens's 'Sea Surface Full of Clouds' surfaced in my consciousness and so I titled the photographs using brief phrases from that poem
This suite was exhibited at the Genovese Sullivan Gallery in their then Boston Thayer Street location from April 1 to May 3, 2005.
